Davenport man accused of sex abuse against minors

A Davenport man was arrested Saturday, accused of sexually abusing two minors.

Terry VanHoutan, 49, is being held without bond at the Scott County Jail on charges he abused one of the juveniles beginning in 1996 and the other beginning in 1999, documents show. The abuse continued until a few weeks ago, officials said.

VanHoutan pleaded guilty in 2001 to two counts of indecent exposure, Scott County court records show. He was sentenced to one year probation.
