OWENSBORO, KY (WAVE) - A western Kentucky jury has convicted a former youth minister of felony sex abuse.
The jury recommended a one-year sentence for 24-year-old Jacob Conder, a former minister at Wing Avenue Baptist Church in Owensboro.
Police say Conder abused a 15-year-old girl during a mission trip to eastern Kentucky.
Conder, who is also a former deputy constable in Daviess County, will be required to register as a sex offender.
