Man accused of showing explicit photos to teen

STARKE, FL --A man from Lake Butler is facing lewd and lascivious conduct charges.

Authorities arrested 50-year-old Jeffrey Lamar Carter.

A 15-year-old girl told Starke police Carter began a "counseling relationship" with her in January. She told detectives she and Carter communicated in person and through Facebook.

The teen said Carter showed her pornographic pictures on his cell phone, and he asked her to take naked pictures of herself. She also told police Carter described dreams of having sex with her.

Carter was booked into jail and released on a $20,000 bond.

He faces charges of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a Person under 16.
