Clay County Pastor Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl

JACKSONVILLE, FL (AP) -- A pastor has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a Clay County girl. A jail official says Fritzner Jean is being held at the Clay County Jail on bond. He was charged with one count of lewd battery and two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Jean was pastor of First Haitian Baptist Church of Jesus Christ in Green Cove Springs and also a truck driver.

The arrest affidavit says Jean frequently visited the home of the girl's family. The alleged victim told police she had been assaulted three times and that Jean forced her to have sex when he stopped by her family's house to help her cope with her father's illness.
